Mental health affects us all. Read that sentence again. Mental health affects us all. That is such a powerful statement, but it’s true. One way or another, throughout our lives and situations, there is a time where we are affected by mental health in some way. We all need to be more open about our mental health and we need to have people in our lives that we trust and who we can talk to about this. The worst thing you can do is trying to go through it on your own.
We live in a world where people are “self made” and that mentality is shown on social media constantly. You always see the great parts of people’s lives online, but you never see the low points. Not many people advertise their low moments.
All I am trying to say is we all need someone in our lives for encouragement and support. Having someone to talk to is the best way to end the stigma of mental health. I hope this encourages you to reach out to someone, and you can always reach out here. I know it’s hard to be completely open with someone, but hopefully these videos will encourage you to speak up.
